Here are the stories you need to pay attention to this morning:

  • National Republicans target McAdams on impeachment.
  • Text messages show President Trump wanted Ukraine to investigate Biden before granting a face-to-face meeting to the Ukrainian president.
  • President Trump brazenly called on China to investigate the Bidens during a back-and-forth with reporters.

Friday trivia

Today's question comes from Zachary Zundel, who won last week's contest:

"Senator Martha Hughes Cannon has been getting much-deserved attention as the first female state senator in the country. Who were the first two female state representatives in Utah and how long did each serve?"

The first reader who sends the correct answer to me at bschott@utahpolicy.com will get to ask next Friday's question.

Good luck!
