But the revolution RFK Jr. has been engineering at HHS, the FDA, etc. … To remove animal testing and modernize drug development using AI… And there’s even a federal law on the table to FORCE drugmakers to modernize… This is next-level stuff. It actually has its roots in “Operation Warp Speed” - President Trump’s big push to get COVID vaccines in 2020. And vaccine opinions aside, from a biotech perspective what we did was unprecedented. Just amazing, really. So, I have some facts I want to share with you: Animal testing comes in stages and takes about one to three years. You have an early toxicity screening which takes three to six months… Pharmacokinetics prediction takes another six to 12 months… Reproductive carcinogenicity takes 18-24 months. So let’s compare that to AI… Early toxicity - days to two weeks. Pharmacokinetics predictions - hours to days. Reproductive carcinogenicity - simulated in weeks. AI-based models shave years off of a preclinical timeline. And how effective is it? When you’re looking at human predictability, animal testing is about 50% to 60%. AI models are 70% to 85% accurate. AI based models aren’t just faster, they’re more accurate. And of course no ethical concerns. I love animals just as much as the next person, but I wouldn’t stop animal testing to save animals at the risk of human lives. I mean, most people would risk a mouse to save a child with cancer, let’s face it. But it’s not even just speed and efficacy… The average drug costs $2.6 billion. Discovery alone costs a billion dollars. AI-driven discovery is often under $100 million. So, five to seven years, animals, billions of dollars to get to clinical trials… Vs. 12 to 24 months with AI. And it takes the cost down by 90%. It takes the design timeline down 80%. It’s just unbelievable. There’s a handful of companies that do this that we want to talk to you about tomorrow on our webinar. There are private ones, sure, but a few public ones that are small stocks but serious players - backed by Bill Gates, NVIDIA, etc. If I had to predict which of all the companies will succeed in the long-term, the companies I’m talking about tomorrow are hands-down my top picks.
