Andrew Puzder, a fast-food executive nominated by President Donald Trump to be labor secretary, has withdrawn from consideration. Conservative publications and Senate Republicans joined a chorus of labor organizations, liberal groups and Democrats in criticizing the nomination after Puzder revealed he had employed an immigrant living illegally in the US.
