'You're Playing Right Into Their Hands' Former President Donald Trump admonished his supporters in Dallas over the weekend, after they booed him for revealing that he has received his booster shot. Trump made the comment during an arena event with Bill O'Reilly in the Lone Star state on Sunday. “Don’t! Don't! Don't!” Trump said, after he disclosed his vaccination status to the crowd, and received boos in return. Earlier in his remarks, Trump urged his fans to revisit their thinking on the vaccine. “We did something that was historic. We saved tens of millions of lives worldwide — we together, all of us,” Trump said. “We got a vaccine done in less than nine months. It was supposed to take from five to 12 years. Because of that vaccine, millions and millions of people — I think this would have been like the Spanish flu of 1917 where up to 100 million people died. This was going to ravage the country far beyond what it is right now." “Take credit for it. Take credit for it,” Trump added. “You’re playing right into their hands [when you doubt the vaccine].” A fascinating moment of rare discord between Trump and his most devoted admirers — one which prompted a ton of reaction.
