Luscious Desserts: Parfaits, Trifles, and Fools  In the little town where I was raised, we didn't have trifles and parfaits. We didn't have many fools either--certainly not like the strawberry fool to the right or the trifles above. But they're luscious and easy to make--layers of fruit, fillings, and whipped cream interspersed with layers of cake, cookies, or brownies. You can be as creative as you want.
A chocolate, banana, and brownie parfait will delight your family and mini trifles or strawberry fools will please your guests.
