A proposed workforce housing development has received initial approval from Mount Pleasant Town Council. The development would include 42 multifamily units priced from $212,000 to $285,000.

Berkeley County to offer ManuFirstSC training in Cainhoy

The county will host an information session for residents interested in training for manufacturing positions at 6 p.m. Jan. 30 at Cainhoy Elementary School. Attendees will be able to sign up for the three-week ManuFirstSC course that begins March 14, which provides manufacturing skills for available jobs in the area.
