| South State Corp. combining with Florida bank Columbia-based South State, the largest bank based in South Carolina, is combining with CenterState Bank in an all-stock deal valued at $6 billion. The new organization will keep the South State name but will be headquartered in Winter Haven, Fla. On the Menu Boxcar Betty’s catering is available for Super Bowl weekend.
