Roper St. Francis names new president and CEO

Following a second national search, Dr. Jeffrey DiLisi has been selected as Roper St. Francis Healthcare’s new CEO and president and will assume the role beginning Dec. 7. DiLisi most recently served as senior vice president and chief medical officer of Virginia Hospital Center.

S.C. unemployment falls to 5.1% in September

South Carolina’s unemployment rate decreased to 5.1% in September from August’s revised rate of 6.4%, according to data from the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce.
