Serving Children Beyond the Christmas Wish List

Advent is near, and we are already preparing for Christmas! As the church, we seem to reach out to children more intentionally during this season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. How can this season be a springboard for serving children year-round? How can we meet the spiritual and emotional needs of children during the season? What can the church do to support parents during this hectic season and beyond?

Join us as we welcome Delia Halverson and Brittany Sky who will offer great ideas for serving children beyond the Christmas Wish List.

"Tuesday Tea with Melanie" is a webinar series focused on embracing children and families as part of the disciple-making process in local congregations. The series opens up the enlivening questions at the center of children’s faith formation: Will our children have faith? How do we help children grow in faith? We gather experts to explore these questions in their complexity as they impact the lives of children and families in the digital age. 

Tuesday Tea participants create online communities that connect them to others engaged in ministry with children, equipping them to communicate in fresh, new ways to others and inspiring them to more fully engage children and families in the life of the church.
