August Tuesday Tea with Melanie:
Blessing Our Children in Meaningful Ways

A new school year is upon us, and children look to us for reassurance and guidance. How do congregations send children forth surrounded in love? On Tuesday, August 15, we welcome three experienced leaders in ministry who will help you support children at the beginning of the new school year:
  • Kelly Duke, Director of Children and Family Ministries at Sierra Vista UMC in San Angelo, Texas
  • Ed Stallworth, Pastor at Inman UMC in Inman, South Carolina
  • Charlie Ludden, Associate Director of Project Transformation, Oklahoma Annual Conference
Together, we pray for our children. Equip them. Bless them.
Pour a cup of tea and plan now to join us for rich and impactful conversation.

About 'Tuesday Tea with Melanie'

"Tuesday Tea with Melanie" is an online conversation focused on embracing children and families as part of the disciple-making process in local congregations. The series unpacks the enlivening questions at the center of children’s faith formation: Will our children have faith? How do we help children grow in faith? We gather experts to explore these questions in their complexity as they impact the lives of children and families in the digital age.
Mark your calendars now for future "Tuesday Tea" dates:
