AWARDS & ACCOLADES David Chipperfield was named the winner of the 2023 Pritzker Prize. The Laundromat Project announced the participants of its 2023 Create Change Artist Development Program. The Joan Mitchell Foundation announced the artists who will participate in its residency program at the Joan Mitchell Center in New Orleans. They are Olive Ayhens, Andrea Carlson, Oreen Cohen, Pamela Council, M. Florine Démosthène, Lucia Honey, Soraya Jean-Louis, Nyeema Morgan, Ebony G. Patterson, Pat Phillips, Katy Schimert, Laura Spector, and Hui-Ying Tsai. Two artists, LaToya M. Hobbs and Ariston Jacks, will participate in a virtual residency. ArtTable announced the host organizations selected list for its 2023 National Fellowship Program; in New York, they include A.I.R. Gallery, the Amant Foundation, the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art, the Museum of the City of New York, the Project for Empty Space, the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center, the Morgan Library & Museum, and NY VoCA (Voices in Contemporary Art).
