Go for it, John, not once, but again and again and again. Whatever it takes. Because in the end, with arms held high in the winner's circle, beaming with joy, as light as a feather, crying your eyes out, you'll see how fantastically disproportionate the rewards are for the effort expended, the risks taken, and the price paid - no matter how many false starts you endured. And you'll be astounded by how quickly you made it, even though, when the going got tough and your spirits ebbed, you thought you'd never, ever, ever, "see the day."

Tallyho,
   The Universe
John, months shy of turning a scary “four oh,” at the lowest ebb of my life—distraught over a bad breakup, career in ruins, and debt far exceeding my life savings—I wondered if the best of my life was behind me. Unbeknownst to me, my life was about to blast off. My 40's and 50's have made my 20’s and 30’s look like my warm up years.
