Ready for newer, better, and faster? Nothing unspiritual about that!
2019 was quite the set-up for change, eh? As blessed as I feel, it still contained a few bumps for me. So much so, I had a daily reminder on my phone the second half of the year that reminded me: “2019 will be the greatest year of my life, so far!” Precisely because that was not how it felt!
When I look back on my life, however, it’s not the easy years that are my faves, nor even the years when I hit new highs. Instead, it's the years that I “toughed it out.” When I pressed on in spite of fear and overwhelm (like in front of my first Unity Church audience in 2001!). When there seemed to be little or no evidence I was on the “right path.” |

That’s where the juice is! Those years were turning points! I marvel at how daunting they were, and yet, how much they later made possible. Looking back, my message to “Little Mike” (my adult self, living through the tumult) is still, “Go, dude! Keep the faith! You’re doing it right! If you could see where ‘I’ now am, and how soon you’ll be arriving, you’d faint.”
Life isn’t fair, John... we’re so inclined to succeed, it’s like the cards are stacked in our favor! Our positive thoughts are wildly more powerful than our negative ones. Everything makes us more. Setbacks are always temporary, broken hearts always mend, and challenges turn us into better versions of ourselves than we earlier knew to hope for.
2020 will be a year of stunning clarity, John. Veils will be lifted. Truth will shine bright. And you will move fantastically closer to all your heart now longs for, and so much more. It’s coming! Faster than you think! Keep the faith! Try not to faint when these words come true!
