Have you ever read Autobiography of Yogi by Paramanhansa Yogananda?
I’ve heard of it for at least 20 years (published in 1947), but it wasn’t until last December that I finally took a peek. I will never be the same.
The author chronicles his lifetime’s search for truth and God. He weaves a story in-between fantastic tales, recounting his entire, humble yet stunning, life. Many readers don’t take as literal its many accounts of miracles, but I have no problem there.
In a nutshell, this book reveals and confirms life’s sacred beauty and our innate (but mostly unknown) ability to connect with a higher power to effortlessly command the illusions of time, space and matter.
It has hyper-invigorated my own quest within, to recognize life’s ultimate truths in all times, places, and matters. So much so, that for the past 2 months I’ve hosted a weekly mini-manifesting workshop on these topics, sharing exactly what I’m learning as I’m learning it!
There have been 9 so far, with 4 more to go. Teaching is one thing, and I’ve been doing that for 20 years, but when you teach what you're presently discovering, it lights you (and others) up! The passion becomes contagious.
I do believe the world’s vibrations are rising in these wild years since the 2012 winter solstice (call it the "Age of Aquarius," or what you will). It’s making us faster manifestors, better learners, and raising our individual vibes with it – so long as our hearts and minds remain open to thinking in new ways.
I hope your new year is positively riding this wave! I highly recommend this autobiography to accelerate your own transformations, and if you’d like to catch up on my weekly workshops, they’re all included (old and new) as part of my Infinite Possibilities Membership (details below).
Tallyho and Happy Self-Realizing, John!
