A few months ago, our cable TV stopped working. We had to wait a few weeks for an appointment, as we work full-time and weekend appointments book quickly. My husband loves TV, and was pretty upset. I didn't care too much, since I hardly watch TV, or so I thought.

Buy Cheap and Revamp Into Your Style

I bought this chalkboard during last year's 90% Christmas sale at Target for only 30 cents (originally $3). I changed up the original bow that I did not like (which was a simple thin red bow) into this burlap bow. Now the chalkboard looks as if it was more expensive and looks nicer.

October Blooming Clematis (Elsa Spath)

It's been a hard year for all my plants. Things have looked pretty grim all season. I lost so many roses to spores that thrive in the damp. This may be the first year I didn't try something new.

It's Oktoberfest time! I'm not a beer drinker, but I do make up for it with the foods. This is an easy way to make a scrumptious schnitzel without too much effort. You can use any type of meat you like, but I like chicken breast. Don't forget to serve lemon wedges alongside. They really make this meal pop!

I was just given this plant by a neighbor. I have no idea what it is. I thought it might be a dracaena of some sort, but it droops down the side of the pot. Can anyone help me?
