Now, all of those accounts have been exposed on a hacker forum—for free. The data consists of scraped public information as well as private phone numbers and email addresses that are not meant to be public. | |

| Here's why I think this matters to IT. The most significant threat emerging from this breach, according to experts, is social engineering. Armed with names and addresses harvested from this breach, cybercriminals could easily target users with phishing, vishing, and smishing scams. While not foolproof, it's good to remind employees to activate two-factor authentication on their personal accounts. | |
