Jackson Wins in Australia Marcus Jackson, who won at the preliminary round at Viva Surfers Paradise, is from Melbourne, Australia. He has been around the entertainment industry for the last 25 years. His inspiration to perform came from his father. Being a part of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest is an extremely proud achievement for Marcus. His favorite Elvis song is “Hurt.”
Deonath Advances to Semifinals Cote Deonath of Ocala, Florida, won the preliminary round at the Elvis Tampa Bay Festival. Cote has been an Elvis tribute artist for 16 years. He started at the age of 3 when he saw the Elvis movie “Follow That Dream." Cote says it is a dream come true for him to compete in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. His favorite Elvis song is “Hurt.”
