Tyson Foods reestablishing Richland County operations

The company will invest $55 million to transform a Bluff Road plant that closed last August into a meat portioning and packaging operation. The reopened facility is expected to create 330 jobs in the next three to five years. 

Some Richland County offices now open by appointment

County residents can sign up for appointments with the county assessor’s, auditor’s and treasurer’s office, among other services. The county will also hold a virtual meeting to address flood-prone properties on Thursday.
