U-Haul's annual who's moving where report for Louisiana is interesting

The cities of Lafayette, Broussard and Carencro were among the net-gain markets of residential activity in the last year, according to data from one national moving company.

U-Haul identified the three Lafayette Parish cities in its annual Growth Index, which analyzes one-way customer moves during 2023. The report identified Lake Charles, Hammond and Covington as the top growth cities in state and Zachary, Gonzales, Houma and Denham Springs as others as net-gain markets.
