UAW sues GM for use of temporary workers when hundreds of employees are laid off
The United Auto Workers union is suing Detroit-based General Motors for using temporary workers at a Fort Wayne plant instead of laid-off full-time workers, in which UAW says is a breach of contract. UAW filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court -- Northern District of Ohio on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
