A Message From the Editor

Good Morning. We're covering news that a U.K. High Court judge has struck down an attempt to exclude thousands of claimants from pursuing compensation for damages caused by a devastating dam collapse in 2015 at a mine co-operated in Brazil by BHP Group. Also, our ranking of the top 30 law firms operating in the U.K. shows that several U.S. law firms have larger U.K. revenues than longstanding British institutions And Freshfields, which is pushing to gain market share in the U.S., has hired the head of the New York tax practice at Skadden, Arps, Meagher, Slate & Flom.
