NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Biorepository has become the first organisation in the UK to achieve UKAS accreditation to ISO 20387:2018, the international standard for biobanking. Accreditation provides independent assurance that biobanking activities are carried out to consistent, internationally recognised requirements, supporting the integrity, quality and traceability of biological materials. |
