Lady Wakefield Update We are pleased to say that Lady Wakefield will re-enter service later this month following her repairs to the damages caused during the winter floods. You may remember that during the height of Storm Desmond, Lady Wakefield snapped three mooring ropes before being rescued. She was beached on the shore at Waterside Farm for five months, then re-floated by marine salvage agents from Titan & Ardent in Holland. Vital repairs have be made and the historic vessel is almost ready to join her sister ships once again.

Spotlight on ........ Lady Dorothy - built in 1967 and originally from Guernsey, she joined the fleet in 2001. Her arrival allowed for our first winter timetabled service which has become increasingly popular offering our visitors the chance to walk, cruise and then find somewhere with an open fire to enjoy a cosy supper. During the summer months Lady Dorothy runs our Aira Force Shuttle service which runs daily from now until 2nd October with weekends and half term after this period and then through Christmas and New Year . She is the smallest of our fleet and differs from the other vessels as she is made from wood. She also just has one engine where the others all have two #littlethings
Dog friendly For anyone who follows us on social media it will come as no surprise that we are dog friendly! Our four-legged friends, like Cooper here, recieve a bag of treats and a whoopsie bag when they travel with us. Dogs travel for just £1 but don't forget your lead. The boats connect with some of the most fantastic walks in the Lake District so go out there and enjoy!
