| | | | | | | | | Sydney - 3 Night Stay | You’ll kick off this once in a lifetime trip with a three-night stay in Sydney. This stunning harbour city, perfectly perched on Australia's east coast, really has it all. From man-made wonders such as the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge (which you can even climb if you're feeling brave) to incredible beaches and national parks, all at your fingertips. It would be rude not to spend a morning people-watching at the legendary Bondi Beach or take a tour and explore the tall forests, sandstone cliffs, canyons and waterfalls that make up the magnificent Blue Mountains. |
| | | | Exploring New Zealand | Sailing away from the stunning Sydney Harbour you'll soon be crossing the Tasman Sea heading for one of the most dramatic and beautiful parts of New Zealand. The spectacular geography and wildlife of Fiordland’s Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound are best experienced on water, here steep cliffs rise out of deep blue water whilst fur seals sunbathe on rocks beneath them. Cruising around the southernly tip of the South Island you'll arrive in Dunedin, home to some of the world’s rarest penguin colonies. Cruising north you'll stop in Christchurch before crossing the Cook Straight and arriving in the capital city Wellington, on the North Island. The 1930's art deco architecture is a highlight of your next port of call in Napier, before completing the New Zealand part of your itinerary in Auckland, New Zealand's largest city and a region home to 48 volcanic cones. If you're looking for the most spectacular panoramic views of the city and harbour, head up Maungawhau (Mount Eden) which rises up to 196 metres high and is less than 10 minutes from the city centre. |
| | | | Discovering Australia | As you sail back to Sydney some of your fellow cruisers will be preparing to disembark, not you however, as you have another 10 nights onboard this beautiful ship. Cruising north along the edge of the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef, you'll sail as far as the tropical town of Port Douglas, the gateway to the Daintree Rainforest, the oldest, and some would say, most scenic, living rainforest on Earth. Throughout your time sailing the Coral Sea, you'll have the chance to spot tropical birds such as black noodies, sooty terns and wedge-tailed shearwaters, whilst beneath the waves at least 28 species of whales and dolphins can be found in these waters, some in pods of up to 400 strong. The port of call to Airlie Beach is a particular highlight, with the nearby Whitsunday Islands a must-do for anyone looking to swim with sea turtles and rainbow-coloured fish, or simply enjoy relaxing on secluded beaches and in hidden bays. Depending on your departure dates you'll also visit either Eden or Brisbane before returning to Sydney to end this epic adventure. |
| | | | Celebrity Eclipse | Celebrity Eclipse has to be one of the most loved ships in the Celebrity fleet. Up high on deck 15, you'll discover The Lawn Club, kick off your shoes and enjoy the half-acre of real grass, with live jazz bands and outdoor BBQs this is the perfect spot to spend a day at sea. Decks 4 and 5 are a hive of culinary activity, with amazing restaurants such as Le Petit Chef at Qsine and Tuscan Grille, as well as contemporary bars and lounges. Our favourite of all has to be the ice-topped Martini Bar, where the bartenders are the stars of the show. |
| | | | Always Included | From the moment you step onboard, you'll be able to take advantage of Celebrity's Always Included offer. Your cruise package not only includes the classic drinks package, you'll also have a WiFi package in order to share the tranquil sounds and glacier-carved wilderness of New Zealand's Fiordland with your friends and family back home, plus for peace of mind, your onboard gratuities are also taken care of. |
