Enjoy Lesley Bisseker's bolt and brilliantly vibrant quilted textile hangings (above), Silvia Kamodyová's new inlay ceramics, Christina Fedyk's epic collages (below), and Bronwen Grieves' totemic ceramic sculptures. Join us tomorrow evening, Saturday 3rd June 6-8pm for a glass of wine, a preview of the show, and a chance to talk to the artists. The exhibition continues daily until 9th July. |

MAKE at ABtS: Ceramic Inlay with Sylvia K To coincide with showing her new inlay works in UNBOUND, artist Silvia Kamodyová, aka Silvia K Ceramics, will be leading an inlay workshop here at ABtS on 24th June, 1-4pm. The afternoon will begin with a demonstration from Silvia, following which you will design and make your own platter with inlayed clay and coloured slips. Your piece will then be fired and glazed and will be ready to pick up from the gallery in mid July. Don't miss this great opportunity to explore a fascinating technique with Silivia, a hugely experienced tutor and ceramicist. Suitable for all levels with all materials supplied. Spaces are strictly limited so check the MAKE page of our website and BOOK NOW. |

Janet Brooke's Brighton It's always a pleasure to see how our local artists interpret the local landscape, and Janet Brooke is a seasoned observer. Her new prints capture the city's quintessential Regency characteristics, as well as newer - and no less distinctive - Brighton landmarks. Come and see Changing Horizons here in arch one, open daily until 9th July. Join us tomorrow evening, Saturday 2nd June 6-8pm, for a glass of wine and a preview. |

New deliveries at Atelier We've also taken deliveries from two of our popular artists and makers this week. This wonderful etching (above) by Heike Roesel, is inspired by the landscape at Seaford Head where the Cuckmere river meets the sea. Fascinated by the workings of weather on the landscape, the image captures the sea defenses and the precarious position of the clifftop houses above. We've also unpacked a consignment of pots from Shoreham-based Aeglom Ceramics. With a wide range of fun and functional pots, usually in delicious pastel shades, this wide striped stem vasedemonstrates a more pared-back palette. Guaranteed to smarten up your dresser. |

East End Press We love just about everything that comes out of the East End Press, and this fishy bunting is no exception. Why not hook yourself one? If fish aren't your thing, we've got seashells, and bunnies, plants and bouquets too, all bringing an injection of jolly to wherever they are draped. Much more fun than a card! (But we've got loads of lovely cards too...) |
