"'Unconditionally Free' is a rare glimpse into creative intelligence as embodied in the life and teaching of a spiritual genius who was at least a hundred years ahead of his time. J. Krishnamurti freely and spontaneously expressed Truth beyond Mind and Time. Humanity will be indebted for posterity. This book opens a vision of reality we could aspire to; the life and evolution of our very planet depend on it." âDeepak Chopra, MD
"This meticulously prepared book, 'Unconditionally Free', beautifully introduces one to the extraordinary life and teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti. The Immeasurable embodies its unceasing Wisdom through time as history guiding human consciousness onward, ever onward. There is absolutely no doubt Jiddu Krishnamurti embodied this eternal wisdom. Also, most importantly, Krishnamurti is the first world teacher whose exact words, books, and videos are archived for future consciousness to embrace and move humanity forward towards a harmony little-understood today. 'Unconditionally Free' is lovingly edited and presented as a gift to any and all whose paths it will cross." âMelbourne S.
Unconditionally Free was inspired by The Mind of J. Krishnamurti exhibit: the timeline and parallel world events decade by decade throughout his lifeâand it goes even further. This new book is incomparable in its collection of Krishnamurtiâs insights and themes throughout his life against a backdrop of global events. The context that the exhibit and timeline provide creates a foundation for deeper layers of background that, in many ways, helped shape how the teachings were expressed over time, including the personalities, events, organizations, and beliefs that were in place before young Krishnamurti was âdiscoveredâ near the Bay of Bengal in 1910. Upon this parallel context created by the timeline comes several layers; what was it about the mind of J. Krishnamurti that was touched only superficially by all this? And how did this untouched quality of mind allow or invite the teachings to emerge? Then another layer opens. How all of these layers shaped, to a large degree, not only Krishnamurtiâs outer experiences but also the words he used to describe what his inner experiences revealedâ Truth Is a Pathless Land, for example. Finally, the book explores, as the speaker said, time and time again, that âthe word is not the thing;â the teachings are not what the teachings describe. What then are the teachings at this more fundamental level, as direct experience, beyond metaphor, beyond concept? Touching on and exploring, even briefly, these layers morph and become yet another context or layer, one that will serve as a basis to examine what is called Krishnamurtiâs mature teachings.
"This incredible book, in both content and design, has recreated both the context of K's journey as a human being while also plumbing the depths of how truly revolutionary and astounding his teaching was and remains to this day. I have made a personal commitment to helping tell this story, to share his teaching, and to be the change I seek in the world. I often think of something K said often, that it only takes a few people who are truly free to change the world for the better. I seek to find those others and combine our light together and curse the darkness." âJoshua M.
For those more than casually interested in what J. Krishnamurti invites humanity to discover, and therefore turn the current state of personal and world crisis around, the new book Unconditionally Free, offers the most comprehensive summary of his unique insights, decade by decade, supported by a lucid map of how to approach his collected insights with incisive precision. It becomes clear turning the pages: to change the world, before it is too late, each of us must bring about our own inner-revolution. This total transformation is not the product of thought, time, or methods. It is a change in the very root of human consciousness, in the state of the mind and heart, and from that, its content. Unconditionally Free brings this possibility closer, clearer, and more urgent than it has ever been.
"I loved the book and my journey doesn't end with it; it is really only the beginning. I have read it and am reading it again, as I have with all his writing because I have found that I always see something new. 'Unconditionally Free' has given me a time perspective of what Krishnamurti's life was like, and of course, the readings of his continue to work within me." âDonald A.
