Day 1 - State of home health payment reform: Leverage new opportunities. Get your facts straight about what the Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) means so you can perform an impact analysis and position your agency for success. Get a breakdown of the provisions in 2019 PPS rule that will impact home health including PDGM, changes with home infusion therapy, remote patient monitoring technology, rural add-on, and face-to-face changes. Also, learn how alternative payment models including bundled payments and value-based purchasing will affect the future home health market.

Day 2 - Understand data drivers that will ensure success amid massive market changes. During this session home health financial expert and strategist Mark Sharp will share national benchmarks for key factors that will be driving payments under new models such as the PDGM. For example, you’ll get a look at patient characteristics, length of stay, facility-based and non-facility based admissions, Medicare spending for different DRGs and readmission rates.
