The impact of coronavirus has brought multiple challenges to governments, businesses, and people around the world. The lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus in India started on March 25 and was extended three times; it is still in place in some cities even today. The necessity of lockdown also resulted in certain negative impacts, such as 120 million people losing their jobs (75% of which were in the unorganized sector), farmers struggling to get their produce to the markets due to the supply chain constraints, and large scale reverse-migration from cities to villages (some even on foot).
