Unemployment benefits extension could cap the boost

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said he supports extending unemployment benefits past the July 31 expiration date, but he added that the enhanced employment benefit of $600 will likely change. "[W]e'll figure out an extension to it that works for companies and works for those people who will still be unemployed," Mnuchin said.

A report from ZoomInfo found the number of professionals with the words "diversity" or "inclusivity" in their job title jumped from 876 in 2014 to 2,250 in 2019. As of Q1 of this year, 39% of companies in the Fortune 500 had a diversity executive -- with a director level job title or higher -- supervising their diversity programs.
