Trump administration scraps race, gender pay data
Organizations will no longer be required to break out pay data by race and gender under a new rule issued by the Trump administration. Supporters of the rule, adopted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under President Barack Obama, say its repeal will undermine efforts to close pay gaps for women and minorities, but EEOC Acting Chair Victoria Lipnic says the agency will still investigate discrimination claims.
