Note from the Associate Editorial Director

Identifying CDI program ingredients

by Linnea Archibald

Our CDI Week 2021 theme, “CDI Kitchen: Recipes for a successful program,” already has our minds spinning with fun cooking-themed ideas for this year’s celebrations. Think aprons, chef hats, cooking demonstrations, recipe exchanges, and more. September feels like ages away now, but it’ll be upon us in no time, and we couldn’t be more excited.

CDI Week offers a time of recognition for CDI professionals and an opportunity for good old fashion fun, but it's also a time to take (soup) stock of the industry, to pause and evaluate where the industry stands in comparison to years past. To achieve this aim, ACDIS condusts an annual Industry Survey.

Blog Highlight

Here's what's been published on the ACDIS Blog in the last week:

Do you have a tip, story, or perspective to share with the broader ACDIS and CDI community? If you’re interested in writing a piece for the Blog, here are a couple guidelines for you:

  • Length: Typically, 500-700 words. If your post is longer, we may break it into two posts for readability.
  • Content: All things CDI (and coding too)! We love hearing about your experiences and the lessons you’ve learned about CDI along the way.

Besides those two guidelines, all you have to do is submit your piece to ACDIS Editor Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org) and Associate Editor Carolyn Riel (criel@acdis.org).
