Osaka University Creates AI Supercomputer with SuperMicro SuperBlades
Osaka University is a 90-year old institution that serves a wide range of researchers, students, and external experts. A supercomputer class system, SQUID was developed in order to giveA2021460-Thumbnail-OsakaUni.png researchers significantly more computing power than was previous available. The University chose systems from Supermicro that consisted of Supermicro SuperBlades utilizing the 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. In addition to the CPU computing capacity, GPU nodes are also made available to researchers that require specialized hardware.
