Thanks for coming out! | |
| We want to thank all of you who came out to our first Night of Ideas! This collaboration among San Francisco Public Library, SFMOMA, the French Consulate, and KQED created a vibrant space for an all-night marathon of dialogue and art envisioning the City of the Future, and was a smash! | |
| Despite a rainy Saturday night, 6,000 Bay Area residents convened to hear talks by bold figures like tech design ethicist Tristan Harris and Chef Dominique Crenn and to join conversations facilitated by KQED journalists on new ways to think of our urban commons— from bottom-up governance models, to the ways gaming and screens can reframe the way we encounter public space. Others were dazzled by the daring aerialist dancers of Bandaloop, violinist Solenn Seguillon, and a troupe of burlesque clowns. | |
In all, it was a sparkling example of community spirit and thoughtful discourse, and we are grateful you contributed! |
