March 22 and 23, Cowell Theater, Fort Mason Center | Presenting the premiere of Like an Ox on the Roof, a one weekend performance of three new works inspired by classical music compositions, and restaging of Foehringer’s Concerto Grosso by ODC dancer Private Freeman. The show features live music with renowned artists including classical pianists Daniel Glover and Tamami Honma and many of San Francisco’s finest contemporary dancers.

| | More than 35 garments from the Kyoto Costume Institute convey how the materials, forms, techniques and decorative motifs of kimono have impacted global style from the Victorian era to the digital age.
Admission is free to KQED members plus one guest (total of two persons per KQED MemberCard or membership info from On KQED magazine and a valid ID) on Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10am to 5pm. Tickets are based on day-of availability only.
