  • About the event: Over 100 artists have come together for the #showmethesigns exhibition. These artists have created powerful pieces in the form of protest signs to fight for change. The signs will be auctioned with 100% of the proceeds going to the African American Policy Forum #SayHerName Mothers Network.
  • Date and Place: Following a preview from October 30 to November 9, the auction will launch for bidding in two parts, with Part 1 running from November 10 to 19, and Part 2 running from November 21 to 30. To view or bid on the signs visit www.artfizz.com @artfizz. All of the signs from the auction will be on view in person from October 30 to November 14 at Blum & Poe in Los Angeles.
  • About AAPF and Say Her Name Mothers Network: Founded in 1996 by Kimberlé Crenshaw and Luke Charles Harris, African American Policy Forum (AAPF) is an innovative think tank that connects academics, activists and policymakers to promote efforts to dismantle structural inequality. Launched by AAPF in December 2014, the #SayHerName campaign and the Mothers Network works with the mothers and families of Black women, girls, and femmes killed by police to elevate their stories and fight for justice.
