The Middle East Forum presents next week's webinars:
"It's Time for a US-Israel Mutual Defense Pact"
with Michael Makovsky
Israeli governments have always resisted the idea of defense treaty with the United States. But circumstances have changed and both sides would now benefit from a carefully crafted agreement. It would elevate Israel’s status as an official U.S. ally, deter or mitigate conflict with Iran, frontload the Obama MoU’s military assistance to Israel, replenish U.S. stockpiles of vital precision munitions in Israel, and explore new R&D frontiers.

"Turkish Threats to Greece"
with John Nomikos

It encourages illegal migrants to cross into Greek territory. It unilaterally annexed a large tract of the eastern Mediterranean Sea as its exclusive economic zone to explore for natural gas. What are the dangers of conflagration? How can this be avoided? What policies should the Trump administration adopt?
