Hi Achternaam,

How was your weekend?

I spent some time working on book updates. I've had a people asking me about my book lately, since you can't buy it anywhere at the moment. Well, I'm updating it! It's getting a facelift.

I started with just adding some new photos and refreshing some of the information, but now I'm revamping the whole thing! And that includes updating recipes to be more user-friendly.

I've set up a special waitlist. If you sign up here, you will receive information when the book is ready. I'm going to include a bonus of some kind just for those who sign up for the waitlist. I don't know what that will be yet, but I'm working on it.

Pickling Recipes - Are you growing cucumbers in your garden or enjoying extra cucumbers from a friend's garden or local farmer's market? Here's my page with all of the pickle recipes you'll need.

Canning Corn - Canning corn is a great way to preserve your harvest. Some people love it, and some don't. Personally, I like the flavor of home-canned corn too. Canning corn from your own garden or another local grower is still better than store-bought, canned sweet corn.

Freezing Corn - In case you don't like canned corn, this is another option! I have to admit that freezing corn results in a fresher dish on your table.

Canning Green Beans - I've been asked multiple times how to can green beans in a water bath canner, but that is not a safe method, so instructions are not here. Pressure Canning is the only safe option for preserving green beans, so let's get started with that method.
