Just when you thought it was safe: German boars go wild again

Previously, we told you the story of a wild boar that stole a laptop from a jovial German nudist in Berlin. Well, there’s no nudists this time but we regret to inform you that the piggies are at it again. Beachgoers at a Baltic Sea resort were scared half to death at the sight of something dark scuttling under the waves.

As one swimmer happened to get a bit too close, the shape revealed itself to be a boar and chased them back to the shore. The territorial pig then stood its ground and prevented everyone from getting near the water again. Maybe the pig was just trying to social distance during its summer vacation? A charging boar can be startling, but some beachgoers can be much, much scarier.
