| Fighting the virus: How might Covid-19 be contained? // The Economist Professor Regina Barzilay discusses her work developing a machine learning model that identified a new antibiotic, and how artificial intelligence techniques could potentially be applied to undercovering treatments for viruses like Covid-19. “My hope is that given the success of the model in the antibacterial space it can be applied to a broader set of diseases,” Barzilay says.
