Foodwise is seeking an intern to assist with our new California Crop of the Month program launching at Foodwise farmers markets this spring. It will include seasonal tastings, festivals, and more. This part-time internship offer a stipend of $150/week.

Wanda Blake of Wanda's Cooking demonstrated her recipe, which uses a Creole spice blend, tender collard greens, and sweet pepper chowchow juice to make a warm and comforting meal.

Ferry Plaza Farmers Market: Featured Vendors

This week, we say a bittersweet goodbye to G.L. Alfieri Farms, who has been part of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market since it began in 1993. Their last day will be tomorrow, February 8, so stock up on their nuts and brittle while you can.

 A regular on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Ferry Plaza, Mi Comedor is popping up at the La Cocina tent on Saturdays this February. Stock your freezer with grab-and-go ceviche and tamales from Chef-Owner Olivia Mecalco.
