Upstate Small Business Awards announced virtually

CommunityWorks and the Greenville Chamber hosted a virtual awards show celebrating Upstate small businesses this week to recognize winners of the annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Small Business Awards. 

Anderson University launches student investment fund

Anderson University Center for Finance and Economics has created a $30,000 student-managed investment fund for 11 different equity sectors. The fund is expected to connect students to the wider business community and offer hands on experience of shareholder advocacy and impact investing.

Greenville business owner wins international film festival

A Greenville film maker beat out award winners from the United Kingdom, Iran and France with what Tryon Film Festival judges named the event's “Best Overall Film” on Oct. 11. The event was held virtually this year from Oct. 9- Oct. 11.
