Upstate Forever announces ForeverGreen award winners

Upstate Forever is naming this year’s ForeverGreen Award winners now but waiting until next year to honor them in ceremony. Since 2002, the awards honor individuals and organizations that have made significant forays into fields related to conservation and sustainable growth across the Upstate.

Entrepreneur boot camp hosted in downtown Greer

The Greer Development Corp. will host its second annual business and startup bootcamp The Platform on March 11 and 12 for entrepreneurs seeking consultation for launching or growing a business in Greer. Feb. 24 is the deadline for the program. 

Upstate Mobility Alliance plans transportation discussion

The Upstate Mobility Alliance will host a virtual panel discussion on “Connecting the Dots: How Transportation Helps Create Community Vibrancy” on Feb. 23 from noon to 1 p.m. The event will feature Shawn Bell, Fountain Inn city administrator; Jon Caime, Laurens County administrator; Dianna Gracely, Simpsonville city administrator; and Brandon Madden, Mauldin city administrator.
