Terrible news: The House just voted to defund NPR and PBS. Lawmakers caved — along party lines — to Trump’s request to claw back $1.1 billion in already-approved funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which supports public-media stations across the country. Without this funding, the future of many of these stations is in doubt.
