Hey

I know you're probably getting tired of all the doom and gloom surrounding the Corona Virus (and its impact on the global economy)...

...But things are very, very serious and I want to share what I've learned to ensure that you, your family, and your business stay safe during these uncertain times.

Only a few short months ago, most of us thought this was just another case of "media madness".

Since then however...

  • Italy has closed all shops (including gyms!) with the exception of food stores and pharmacies.

  • Germany’s leader Angela Merkel expects 70% of the country to get infected.

  • The city of Boston just cancelled the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.

  • Tom Hanks and his wife confirmed they have the virus.

And the news will only get worse before it gets better.

That said...

I’m also optimistic that--with some of the world’s smartest minds on this problem--we’ll get through this just like humans have gotten through everything before it (World Wars, the Black Plague, nuclear threats, etc).

And I have something for you at the end of this short email to help.

My clients have been asking me what to do, and I have big list of suggestions below including a brand new training you need to attend tomorrow evening.

But first...a quick pep talk and reality check.

Listen, this is real.

We’ll all have to make some changes – and many will be forced upon us.

That’s because – as much as we want to avoid getting sick – we also have a responsibility to the broader community.

While you and I are young and healthy, we can’t say the same for all of those that we love. And the more we prevent ourselves from getting sick, the more we prevent the at-risk population from getting sick.

As my friend Matt said, “Nobody knows how bad it’ll get. But it will have consequences for everyone. Everybody wants to make a difference in life. This is your opportunity to do it.”

The more you prepare and avoid the disease, the better off everyone will be.

But the window for preparation is almost over. You need to act with speed and urgency but NOT panic.

Be prudent. Be wise. Take care. But don’t get hysterical.

While I’m not an expert, I have turned to the experts in my network for guidance and here’s what I’ve done:

  • Stocked the house with enough food for over three weeks (Daisy included!)

  • Stocked up on Cold-Eeze zinc lozenges (recommended by Dr. James Robb)

  • Bought a first aid kit

  • Limiting my time in public spaces

  • Limiting contact with public surfaces (fist bumps vs handshakes, using knuckes for elevator switches, wearing gloves etc)

  • Avoiding touching my face...a fun challenge similar to meditating!

  • Keeping disinfectant sanitizer handy and washing my hands (for 60-seconds with antibacterial soap) everytime I return home

  • And I’m doing my laundry much more frequently because the virus can live on clothing items for a week (if I understand correctly)

Please keep me posted on your plan so I can share the best strategies with my worldwide clients.

Now... taking care of your physical health is clear.

But what should you do about the health of your business?

If you think you’ll just "get through this"... you are being naïve.

People are irrational...

Things change fast...

Communities, cities, and even countries (see Italy) can go from “OK” to “lockdown” virtually overnight...

Markets crash...

Layoffs become inevitable...

Economic slowdown hits consumer spending...

Where will that leave you?

For some businesses, there is opportunity... In my company we are putting a HUGE emphasis on digital marketing efforts for our “make money at home” courses.

For many others businesses, devastation is pending...

ADAPT or DIE.

Those are our options...

If you need an Adaptation Roadmap, I have very good news for you.

My friend and “Numbers Guru”, Rob Hanly, is doing a 60-minute briefing on Friday where he’ll teach you the two MUST-KNOW items on how to adapt, survive, and thrive in this crisis.

  1. How to prepare for operating a business in economic hardship... so you can turn crisis into opportunity.

  2. How your company can thrive by changing what it's doing and how you do it.

Want to learn exactly how to adapt, thrive, and survive no matter how long this lasts?

Want to know how to protect yourself from the FOUR threats?

Interested in building the survival map for YOUR business?

Ready to thrive in the NEW economy?

Great.

--> Join me on Rob’s training here on Friday

I just signed up and paid to attend even though he’s a long-time friend.

That’s how much value I put on his advice.

It’s only 60 minutes, and you’ll walk away with peace of mind and a plan.

BTW, if you invest 60 minutes the upside is HUGE (i.e. keeping your business, making more, surviving).

If you don’t, the downside is potentially HUGE – loss of business, confusion, panic, etc.

This is a bet I’ll take all day long.

So if you want to be protected and even profit from your business in an economic crisis caused by the Coronavirus - without panicking – then join us here tomorrow on the 60-minute training (and get the recordings too)

Stay safe and strong,
Craig Ballantyne
