Scrabble with AI: Real words need not apply

Is a board game like Scrabble part of your family’s holiday tradition? Sure, it might start out fun, at least until you win against the relative who’s known for being a sore loser. Now you have the option of adding AI to mix. A researcher and game designer created the BLABRECS website that adds a new rule to Scrabble: no real words allowed. Just enter your made-up word into the textbox to see if the AI approves it as fake and you’re good to go.

If you thought that relative could be in a bad mood before BLABRECS, just wait and see. Come to think of it, you could also use it to come up with some pretty crazy account passwords.

Tap or click here to find out how to create a complex password you’ll actually remember (without using Scrabble AI) →
