  The White House said the move comes as a result of President Donald Trump's meeting in Singapore with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The plane, a U.S. Air Force C-17, left Wonsan, North Korea and will transfer the remains to Osan Air Force Base. A formal repatriation ceremony is expected to take place on Aug. 1.
