Will AI bring a 12-hour workweek?

Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma during a speech at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai this week said that AI could usher in a 12-hour workweek, giving people "more time [to enjoy] being human beings." Governments should focus on reforming education to prime students for such a future, Ma said.

The current I-9 form is set to expire Aug. 31, but employers should continue to use it until otherwise notified, officials at US Citizenship and Immigration Services say. A public comment period on potential changes closed July 6.
