USDA, CDC say salmonella strain could be 'widespread in turkey industry' in recall
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the recalled turkey products have been linked a salmonella outbreak responsible for infecting 164 people which includes more than 60 hospitalizations and one death.
