Supreme Court to hear landmark union fees case
The Supreme Court is seen as likely to rule in favor of plaintiffs in an upcoming case challenging public sector union fees, which would mean about 5 million workers in 22 states, including California and New York, could no longer be required to pay "fair share" fees that cover collective bargaining and complaint-resolution costs. Unions have said the case represents a power grab.
