On the rural outskirts of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Frank Lloyd Wright designed The Acres, a landmark subdivision of just five modest homes set amid 71 acres of naturalistic surroundings. The genre-defining architect crafted four of those modestly proportioned residences in his signature Usonian style, while the fifth was handled by an architect who trained at his Taliesin School. One of the Wright homes has recently become available for almost $2.3 million.
